(Engagement) Anniversary
So, a few weeks ago my brother-in-law, Travis, was in town. The family was meeting in the North End for dinner, and Brooke and I were going to meet up beforehand. My wife's cell phone battery was running low so we got all old-fashioned and set a time and place to meet no matter what. We settled on "the" spot. The place where I proposed (in between bites of Il Panino take-out) to Brooke along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. It wasn't until I had parked and was walking there that I realized it was actually two years ago to the day. And would you believe me if I told you that we met there within 30 seconds of the actual time two years earlier? It's true. I just checked the time-stamps on the photos I took on both days. The one below was taken at 6:54:20 p.m and the one here was taken at 6:53:52 p.m. Kind of funny.I love you, Brooke (sorry for using your real name instead of some absurd nickname, but this is a public space and want to save us both some embarrassment). Thanks for making each day (or a large majority of them) better than the last. I knew we were good together, but I didn't realize we would have so much fun on the most ordinary days.
